How to care for your shed

Maintenance

To ensure your shed provides you with many years of use, a little maintenance is required to ensure good working order.

All hardware, including locks should be oiled at least once a year. Failure to do so may result in these elements becoming rusty and stiff making use difficult.

Care should be taken to prevent the build up of dirt and debris on the shed, as this can damage paintwork, and encourage growth of mildew or moss. We advise hosing the shed down every few months to keep it clean, and reapplying a new coat of paint every 3-5 years as needed.

Whilst our sheds are built for durability, if the unit is used to store items that it is not intended for (e.g building materials) this can cause damage and may result in the unit becoming misaligned over time.
