The Pedalbase is our most popular bike shed. It’s low profile hinged lid allows you to step into the shed, eliminating the need for awkward bending down.
Lifting the lid is made easy with strong gas struts that also hold it securely open – even in high winds! When closed the lid plays a vital part in the shed’s security, trapping the tops of the doors.
The Pedalbase is locked with a solid shackleless padlock and security plate to deter any bolt cutter or hacksaw attack.
We offer four sizes housing 3, 4 or 5 adult bikes.

Can shelves be added to a Pedalbase Shed?
With the low profile lid, shelves can’t be added above the bikes but they can be added at each end of the shed above the bike wheels of the bikes. (The shelves are height adjustable to accommodate different sized bikes, or ones with baskets or pannier racks.) We can also supply hooks which can be placed in any empty space to maximise storage possibilities!

I have a manhole cover where I want to position the shed – will this be a problem?
Although a manhole is only accessed once in a blue moon, it is important that it can be reached. Often we can create a hatch or access panel so that moving the shed isn’t required. It depends on the exact position but we’ll do our best to amend a design to accommodate this access issue.
