Green Roof or Lifting Lid

Which is Right for Your Shed?

Green roof

The roof of your shed or bin store affects its appearance, environmental impact, and ease of use.

We offer three options.

  1. Green Roofs add to the aesthetics and ecological benefits of your shed
  2. Lifting Lids are designed to optimise usability and convenience.
  3. Fixed lids are a good option on taller sheds to keep things smart and simple.

This comparison outlines the features and benefits of each style to help determine the most suitable choice for your needs.

A Living Green Roof

Beauty, Biodiversity & Garden Integration

Green roofs:

  • Add colour and life to our products and our customers' homes.
  • They're good for the environment because they soak up rainfall and add bio-diversity.
  • Help your shed blend naturally into the surrounding garden, integrating it more fully with your outdoor space

A Lifting Lid

The Most Ergonomic Design

If you've got bins, or several bikes that you access on a regular basis, then a lifting lid is the most convenient solution.

  • Stooping and kneeling to drag your bike out from the back of a shed with a fixed lid is inconvenient and uncomfortable, particularly when it's behind a couple of other bikes. If you can lift the lid, you can move your bikes around whilst standing. It's far more comfortable and much quicker to use.
  • Our gas struts take the weight of the lid, keeping it open and leaving your hands free.
  • If you have a bin store, you can just lift the lid of the store and throw your rubbish bags straight into the wheelie bin. With a fixed lid you need to open the door, pull out the bin... You don't want to make putting the rubbish out any more of a chore than it is already. Our lifting lids make it quick and easy.

Which Will You Choose

Whether you're drawn to the greenry and environmental benefits of a Green Roof or prefer the practicality and ergonomic benefits of a Lifting Lid, we have the perfect top for your shed or bin store.

Consider what matters most to you – aesthetics and garden integration, or ultimate convenience and ease of access?
